Mobile Number Numerology

Add up your mobile number, see its ruling planet, and check how it matches your Mulank and Bhagyank, with the rule shown.

How the total is worked out

Only the ten digits of the number are used: the +91 country code and any leading 0 are left out. Add all ten digits, then keep adding the digits of the result until one digit is left. For example, 98234 56710 adds up to 45, and 4 + 5 = 9.

How compatibility is judged

Each number from 1 to 9 is ruled by a planet: 1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn and 9 Mars. The planet of your number’s total is compared with the planets of your Mulank and Bhagyank using the classical natural friendships of Vedic astrology. If either planet counts the other as an enemy, the pair is marked as a clash; if both are friends, or one is a friend and the other neutral, it is friendly; otherwise it is neutral. Numerologists publish many “lucky” and “unlucky” tables that do not agree with one another, so this page uses the rule they all claim to rest on, and shows it below.

What each total stands for

Before you change your number

A number you have used for years is known to your bank, family and work, and changing it has real costs. Numerology is a traditional belief, not a science, so no one should pay a premium for a “lucky” number, or change a working number, on its basis alone.
