Aaj ka Rashifal

Today's horoscope for all twelve rashis, worked out from where the Moon, Shani, Guru and Rahu actually are, not written in advance.

How this rashifal is made

Most daily horoscopes are written by hand, often days in advance. This one is worked out from the actual sky for the date and city you choose. The main reading comes from the house the Moon occupies counted from your rashi (Chandra gochara), which changes every two to two and a half days. If the Moon changes sign during the day, the page tells you when. Shani, Guru and Rahu give the slower background.

Moon sign, not Sun sign

In Vedic astrology your rashi is the sign the Moon was in when you were born, measured in the sidereal zodiac. It is usually different from the Western Sun sign you read in magazines. If you don't know it, the nakshatra finder or your kundali will tell you in seconds.

A rashifal treats everyone with the same Moon sign alike. My Day goes further: it adds Tara bala from your birth nakshatra and your running dasha.
