Planetary positions are computed from JPL Keplerian orbital elements and a truncated ELP-2000 lunar theory, matching published astronomical reference values to within a few arc-seconds for the Moon and roughly an arc-minute for other planets. Sidereal longitudes use Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, the standard used by most Vedic astrologers.

Vimshottari Dasha is the classical Vedic system that divides a 120-year cycle into planetary periods (Mahadasha) and sub-periods, used to time when different life themes are most active. JyotishGen computes the full sequence down to the Antardasha level.

Is my palm photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The palmistry tab reads your photo inside the page itself. The image is decoded into an in-page canvas, measured by JavaScript on your own device, and discarded — it is never transmitted to a server, never written to browser storage, and does not survive closing the tab.

How does the palm reading work?

Accepted Answer

The page separates your hand from the background, straightens it, locates the palm between the finger creases and the wrist, and traces the heart, head, life and fate lines as creases darker than the surrounding skin. Length, curve, sweep, depth and end position are measured in units of your own palm width, then read using traditional palmistry correspondences. You can correct anything it reads wrong.
