How My Day works
My Day compares today's sky with your own birth chart. The headline comes from Chandra bala, the house the transiting Moon occupies counted from your natal Moon sign. Tara bala counts from your birth nakshatra to today's nakshatra in groups of nine. The day score combines the two. The running Mahadasha and Antardasha come from the Vimshottari system, and Shani and Guru are read from your Moon sign, the way most panchangs do.
Is my birth data safe?
Yes. Your birth details are saved only in this browser, on this device, so My Day can open with them. They are never uploaded, and you can remove them with one tap. JyotishGen still has no accounts and no server-side storage.
