How the monthly rashifal is made
Each day is rated by the house the Moon occupies counted from Tula (Chandra gochara), the same rule as the daily rashifal, and days with the Moon in the 8th (Chandrashtama) are marked as days to go slowly. Surya, Mangal, Budh and Shukra are read by the house they transit from your sign, using the classical list of favourable houses for each planet, with the exact time any of them changes sign or turns retrograde. Shani, Guru and Rahu give the slower background, including Sade Sati and Dhaiya.
Is Tula my rashi?
Your rashi is your Moon sign at birth in the sidereal zodiac, not the Western Sun sign. Check it with the nakshatra finder, or open My Day for a reading against your whole chart. Names for this sign: Tula baby names.
